There is an ad that appears in magazines about franchise and small business opportunities that reads: "MAKE MONEY HELPING LONELY LADIES!" It adds, "Huge Demand Insures Success." Unfortunately, you have to send $1 ("Cash") for the "Exciting Details" but small price to pay for the "$750+ WEEKLY FOR HAVING FUN!!" There is a blurry clip art silhouette of a lonely lady (holding dead flowers? -- I don't know, could be a gerbil...or maybe a gun). The big headline on this ad is "FUN & CA$H" so clearly this is not to advertise cleaning gutters or mowing lawns. My best guess is that there are a lot of lonely ladies who need some assistance with World of Warcraft. Best guess.
Yes, people are really searching for these. No, I don't know who they belong to, and I don't ever want to.
These often-disturbing glimpses into the psyche of our searches may completely and irreversibly change the way you look at small crowds, and even friends, neighbors, spouses, parents, kids, yourself, etc. If that happens, well... it happens.
The only edits I've made to the searches are possible casing changes - searches will sometimes appear in Title Case or all lower case depending on when I found them, and in some cases common misspellings have already been auto-corrected.
